  • Frozen Shoulder: A Miracle Recovery

I arrived on the ship unable to wash my own hair or fasten my bra because of a frozen shoulder I’ve been battling for eight months. I was in constant, dull pain that kept me awake at night. I had resigned myself to a painful vacation, assuming I wouldn’t be able to swim or participate in any active games.

My husband booked me an appointment with Dr. Chen as a surprise. I was nervous about needles, but Dr. Chen’s technique was painless. He worked on my shoulder and neck, and then asked me to lift my arm. I braced for the pain, but it didn’t come. I lifted my arm above my head for the first time in almost a year!

I burst into tears right there in the clinic. It felt like a miracle. I spent the rest of the cruise swimming laps and playing shuffleboard. I am so incredibly grateful to Dr. Chen for his kindness and his amazing skill. (Diane)

  • Frozen Shoulder Relief

I arrived on the ship unable to lift my arm past my shoulder without wincing. I had been dealing with a frozen shoulder for over six months, and physical therapy back home wasn’t moving the needle much. I figured I’d just have to skip the rock climbing wall and tennis on this trip.

My wife convinced me to see Dr. Chen after hearing him speak. I was hesitant, but after just one session, I could reach the top of my head! By the third session, I had nearly full range of motion back. I can’t believe I waited this long to try acupuncture. Dr. Chen is a miracle worker. (James)
