  • From Wheelchair to Walking Tours

    I almost cancelled this cruise. My spinal stenosis and sciatica had flared up so badly that I couldn’t stand for more than five minutes without shooting pain down both legs. I boarded the ship using a wheelchair assistance service and felt like a burden to my family. I assumed I’d be watching the world go by from the deck chair while they explored the ports.

    Dr. Chen was so compassionate. He listened to my history of failed epidurals and physical therapy. He treated my lower back and legs with such precision. After the first session, I could stand up straighter. After the third session, I walked the entire length of the ship’s promenade without stopping.

    By the time we reached our final port, I walked off the ship on my own two feet and completed a walking tour of the old city. My family was in tears seeing me move like that again. I don’t know what magic Dr. Chen possesses, but it worked when nothing else did. (Robert & Family)

  • Sciatica and Leg Numbness

    I have suffered from sciatica for over five years. The shooting pain down my leg usually stops me from sitting for long dinners or enjoying the theater shows. I wasn’t expecting a cure, just maybe a little relief.

    Dr. Chen gave me so much more than that. He identified exactly where the nerve was pinched. After three sessions, the numbness in my toes is gone and the shooting pain has stopped completely. I can finally enjoy the shows without shifting in my seat every two minutes! (Mark)

  • Sciatica

    I am 40 years old, fire captain with LA county fire dept. I have 4 herniated discs and have lived with sciatica and severe lumbar pain for the last 8 years. Sometimes my lumbar pain is less or absent with minimal activity, however sciatica has bever stopped. I live in constant pain down my right leg to my foot, I did one treatment and walked out amazed, all day I couldn’t believe the pain was gone. I kept thinking maybe it was hurting, but nope it was gone. Went in 2 days later for another treatment just to make sure it’s gone. Thank you so much Dr, Chen. I still cannot believe I lived in pain this long daily and didn’t know about this treatment. Thank you very much!

  • Neck and sciatic pain

    While in a vacation cruise I attended Dr. Chen’s seminar on acupuncture for pain management. While he was very persuasive and his seminar was informative, I was still hesitant until he performed the free acupuncture sample. In just a few minutes I was free of the pain in my neck & back of my head. I signed up for 1 session for the sciatic pain that I’d been living with for the last 30 years-sometimes nearly crippling-always chronic. After the one session, my pain was so minimal that I signed up for 2 more sessions. My pain has been relieved! Something I never thought was going to ever happen. In just one week I’ve gained a better quality of life. Thank God for Dr. Chen. (June)

  • Sciatic nerve pain

    I attended the acupuncture seminar and was very impressed with Dr. Chen’s knowledge and experience with acupuncture and his confidence in helping to alleviate sciatic nerve pain.

    I chose to give him and Chinese medicine a try.

    My condition was only 5 weeks old, but the pain level was already at 10.

    After 1 treatment my pain level was at ZERO!

    My sister has been dealing with this condition for many years.

    I am very thankful to have met Dr. Chen.

  • Lower back pain and Sciatica

    Dr. Chen is amazing! After 5 surgeries and my last being 8 weeks ago seeing 7 different Dr’s I was still always having severe lower back pain of a level 9. And the sciatica was increasing through both legs. I have had this pain for over a year. The last doctor who just did my surgery 8 weeks ago said I had a 50/50 success rate and a 6-12 month for recovery.

    My wife suggested for me to attend Dr’ Chen’s free seminar, and I am glad I did! I signed up for 7 sessions and after the first session my pain level in my lower back and sciatica 9 to 7. Both walking and standing. Before I was not able to walk more than 2 blocks and stand for more than 10 minutes. I found out after my third session, I had decreased my pain level by 60%. I was able to walk and stand without any difficulty. My wife said my personality had change. I am more loving and pleasant now. and now, after my six session I am pain free and I am a new man! Starting life over again. Thanks to Dr. Chen. I wish I had met Dr. Chen before my surgeries started 13 months ago!
